Squeeze to ease: simple hand exercise may lower blood pressure for kidney patients

NCT ID NCT07094906

Summary

This study is testing whether doing handgrip exercises at home for 8 weeks can help improve blood pressure in people with chronic kidney disease (CKD). Researchers will enroll 50 adults with moderate CKD who don't exercise regularly to perform the grip training three times per week. The study aims to understand how this simple exercise might affect blood vessel health and the body's stress responses to help manage cardiovascular risks in CKD.
