First seen Jan 15, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tests two different therapies—kinesio taping and PNF (a type of stretching and movement training)—to see which better helps stroke survivors regain hand function. About 54 adults who had a stroke 6 to 24 months ago will receive one or both treatments three times a week for eight weeks. Researchers will measure hand movement, dexterity, and daily activity participation before and after treatment.
