First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jul 10, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests a special imaging agent (99mTc-NTP 15-5) to see if it can spot arthritis-damaged joints in the hands and tell the difference between osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. About 80 adults with one of these conditions will get a scan. The goal is to improve diagnosis, not to treat the disease.
