Stool test could pave way for simpler stomach bug cure
NCT ID NCT07439445
Summary
This study is testing a simpler, two-drug treatment for a common stomach infection called H. pylori. It will enroll 70 adults who have never been treated for the infection before. The treatment plan is guided by a stool test that checks if the bacteria are resistant to one of the antibiotics, aiming to use a more targeted and potentially effective approach.
