This early-stage study tests whether adding a drug made from urine (uhCG/EGF) to standard care can safely prevent graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) in stem cell transplant patients. GVHD is a serious condition where donor cells attack the patient's body. The study involves 18 adults with blood cancers who lack a perfectly matched donor. The main goal is to find the safest dose and check for side effects.
