Summary
This study looked at how gut bacteria affect the development of type 2 diabetes and help personalize treatment. Researchers followed 100 adults newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes who had not taken diabetes medication before. They analyzed stool samples and blood tests, then assigned different treatments to see how gut bacteria influenced treatment success.
