Could your gut health boost your flu shot?

NCT ID NCT05239403

Summary

This study aims to understand if a person's diet and the community of microbes (like bacteria) living in their gut are linked to how well their body responds to the seasonal flu vaccine. Researchers are enrolling 74 adult employees at MD Anderson Cancer Center who are getting the flu shot. Participants will fill out questionnaires and provide blood and stool samples to help scientists learn if certain gut bacteria or eating patterns are associated with a stronger immune response to the vaccine.
