Gut check: could your microbiome predict cancer treatment success?
NCT ID NCT07551765
First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study explores whether the bacteria in your gut can influence how well early-stage triple-negative breast cancer responds to chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Researchers will collect stool, blood, and tumor samples from 300 women before, during, and after treatment. The goal is to see if changes in gut bacteria can predict complete tumor disappearance or longer survival.
