First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looks at the gut microbiome (bacteria, fungi, and viruses) in people with Crohn's disease, with or without arthritis, and compares them to healthy individuals. Researchers aim to find biological markers that could explain why some Crohn's patients also develop joint inflammation. No treatments are tested—only stool and blood samples are collected.
