First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looks at whether the bacteria in your gut can influence how well a knee replacement works. Researchers will compare the gut bacteria of 30 people with successful knee replacements to those who need a second surgery. The goal is to understand if differences in gut bacteria contribute to ongoing pain, infection, or implant loosening.
