Can a Gut-Friendly diet lock in weight loss after surgery?
NCT ID NCT07268508
Summary
This study aims to see if a special diet designed to increase the variety of gut bacteria helps people maintain weight loss after bariatric surgery better than standard dietary advice. It will involve 60 adults who have had weight loss surgery, comparing the two diet approaches over a year. Researchers will measure changes in gut bacteria, eating habits, taste, hormones, and overall health to understand what helps keep weight off long-term.
