NCT ID NCT06945237
Summary
This study tested whether medications that affect brain-gut communication could help people with chronic acid reflux disease (GERD). Researchers wanted to see if these drugs could help patients who still have symptoms despite taking standard acid-reducing medications. The trial involved 164 adults with GERD to compare the effectiveness and safety of these neuromodulator medications.
