Summary
This research study aims to understand how gut bacteria differ between healthy people and those with obesity and type 2 diabetes in New Caledonia. Researchers will collect stool, blood, and urine samples from 270 adults across three groups: obese with diabetes, obese without diabetes, and healthy controls. The goal is to identify connections between gut bacteria composition and metabolic health to better understand these conditions.
