Summary
This study aims to understand the connection between gut bacteria and sarcopenia, the age-related loss of muscle mass and strength. Researchers will compare the gut bacteria of older adults with and without sarcopenia to younger adults. The goal is to gather information that could help develop future probiotic treatments for this condition.
