Could your gut bacteria predict knee replacement failure?

NCT ID NCT06951477

Summary

This study aims to understand if differences in gut bacteria are linked to why some knee replacements fail and require repeat surgery. Researchers will compare gut bacteria samples from 30 people with successful knee replacements to those needing revision surgery. The goal is to gather knowledge that might one day help predict or prevent implant problems.
