Summary

This study tested whether treating gum disease helps improve blood sugar control in people with diabetes. Researchers divided 91 diabetic patients with gum disease into two groups: one received immediate gum treatment, while the other received delayed treatment after the study. The goal was to see if better oral health leads to better diabetes management.
