Gel boosts gum surgery results in small trial

Summary

This study tested whether adding a hyaluronic acid gel to standard gum surgery (coronally advanced flap) helps treat type 1 gum recession. Twenty adults with gum recession on both sides of the mouth took part. The gel aims to improve gum coverage and reduce discomfort. Results were measured at 6 months.
