First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looks at whether using a special anti-inflammatory mouthwash after a deep dental cleaning can improve healing for people with advanced gum disease. About 20 adults with deep gum pockets will either get the active mouthwash or a placebo, and their gum health will be tracked for 6 months. The goal is to see if the mouthwash helps reduce pocket depth and improve overall gum healing.
