Summary

This study looks at whether people with severe gum disease have higher levels of a certain oxidized fat (oxLDL) in their gum fluid compared to those with healthy gums. Researchers will collect gum fluid from 40 adults aged 30-60 to measure oxLDL levels. The goal is to better understand how gum inflammation might affect overall health, especially heart disease risk.
