Summary
This study tested whether listening to guided imagery audio sessions could help improve sleep problems and overall quality of life for women going through perimenopause. Researchers worked with 68 women aged 45-59 who were experiencing significant insomnia. Participants were randomly assigned to either try the guided imagery program or be in a comparison group, and researchers measured changes in their sleep quality and menopausal symptoms.
