Cash for care: can money keep HIV in check after jail?

Summary
This study is testing if giving guaranteed cash payments to people living with HIV who are leaving jail helps them stay connected to medical care and keep their virus under control. Researchers will enroll 33 very low-income participants in San Francisco and give them money either as one lump sum or in monthly installments. The goal is to see if this financial support reduces barriers to healthcare and improves HIV treatment outcomes.
