Summary

This study looks at how guanfacine, a medication usually used for high blood pressure, changes brain network activity in people with depression. Researchers want to understand how it affects thinking and memory problems common in depression. About 162 adults aged 18-60 with a current major depressive episode will take part. The goal is to learn more about the brain, not to test a new treatment.
