First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tests whether a single dose of gruticibart can prevent blood clots that often form when a catheter is placed in a large vein. About 90 adults who need a catheter will receive the drug and be monitored for clots and bleeding. The goal is to reduce pain and swelling while avoiding the need for blood thinners, which can cause dangerous bleeding.
