Could growth hormone help veterans recover from brain injury?

Summary
This study is testing whether daily growth hormone replacement for 6 months can improve quality of life for veterans who have both mild traumatic brain injury and adult growth hormone deficiency. Researchers will compare the hormone treatment against a placebo in 172 veterans to see if it reduces symptoms and improves well-being. The study also examines effects on body composition and heart health markers.
