Summary
This study tested whether shared medical appointments (group visits) could help underserved children aged 8-12 with poorly controlled type 1 diabetes. Over 12 months, 14 participants attended group sessions every 3 months to improve technology use, blood sugar control, and quality of life. The main goals were to see if families would join and find the visits helpful.
