Summary
This study tested a new 10-session group therapy program called 'Project Life Force' for Veterans at high risk for suicide. It taught coping skills and helped Veterans create and improve a personal safety plan to use during a crisis. The goal was to see if this group approach worked better than the usual individual safety planning to reduce suicidal thoughts and behaviors.
