First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a group-based stabilization and skill-training program to regular individual therapy helps people with long-lasting post-traumatic stress. About 160 adults receiving outpatient mental health care will take part. Half will get the combined treatment, and the other half will continue with individual therapy alone. The goal is to see if the group sessions improve personal recovery and daily functioning.
