Can a grip test reveal how well you sense your body?

NCT ID NCT07334808

First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a simple handgrip device can reliably measure how well people sense their own grip strength—a part of body awareness called proprioception. About 55 healthy volunteers aged 18 to 24 will perform grip tasks twice to see if the results are consistent. The goal is to provide an easy, affordable way for researchers to assess proprioception in clinics.
