New radiation technique could boost cancer treatment when standard therapy fails
NCT ID NCT06660407
Summary
This study tests whether combining a specialized radiation technique called grid therapy with standard immunotherapy can help control advanced lung cancer that has worsened despite current treatments. Grid therapy delivers high radiation doses to small tumor areas, potentially killing more cancer cells while sparing healthy tissue. The trial will enroll 20 patients to check if this combination is safe and effective at shrinking tumors and extending survival.
