Summary
This study looked at whether adding green tea to standard metformin treatment can help obese teenagers with prediabetes improve insulin resistance and blood sugar control. 90 teens aged 10-18 took either metformin alone or metformin plus green tea for 4 months. The goal was to see if the combination could prevent progression to type 2 diabetes.
