Forest walk beats treadmill for busting stress, study finds
NCT ID NCT07379164
Summary
This study tested whether walking in a green outdoor space helps people bounce back from mental tiredness and stress better than walking indoors. Researchers had 80 healthy young adults take a 30-minute walk, either outside in a forest park or inside on a treadmill in a plain room. They measured stress, mood, focus, and body signals to see which environment was more restorative.
