Summary

This study aimed to help people with chronic spinal cord injuries in the neck improve their ability to grasp objects. Researchers tested whether combining gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation and specific sound cues with hand training could strengthen the brain and spinal cord connections needed for grip. The goal was to enhance independence in daily activities like eating and dressing by improving control over two key types of grip: a precision pinch and a power squeeze.
