Summary

This study aims to understand why gout and related metabolic diseases are so common in French Polynesia. Researchers will collect genetic and health data from 2,750 adults of Polynesian ancestry to identify the biological and genetic factors involved. The goal is to gather knowledge that could lead to better future treatments and diagnosis for these conditions.
