First seen May 15, 2026 ยท Last updated May 15, 2026

Summary

This study tested whether a special computer tool (the Hypotension Prediction Index) could help doctors give better care to 100 adults after heart surgery. The tool predicts when a patient's blood pressure might drop, so doctors can act early. The goal was to see if this approach reduces the amount of fluids and medicines needed in the ICU compared to usual care.
