First seen Apr 14, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a new computer program for doctors, a smartphone app for patients and parents, and a community health worker can help Black children and young adults with type 1 diabetes use advanced diabetes tools like continuous glucose monitors and automated insulin pumps. The goal is to reduce racial differences in who gets to use these technologies. About 60 participants who are Black and not currently using automated insulin delivery will take part.
