First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study is testing whether a smartphone app called Glucosano, combined with help from a community health worker, can make it easier for Black children and young adults with type 1 diabetes to use advanced diabetes technologies like automated insulin delivery systems. The goal is to reduce racial disparities in technology use. Sixty participants will try the app and work with a health coach to see if this approach is accepted and helpful.
