NCT ID NCT07437729

First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study aims to understand how a thin layer inside blood vessels, called glycocalyx, and oxidative stress affect blood vessel function in people with chronic kidney disease. Researchers will compare three groups: kidney disease patients, people with high blood pressure but no kidney damage, and healthy volunteers. No treatments are given; the goal is to find new markers that could help detect blood vessel problems earlier.
