Kidney disease study looks at hidden blood vessel damage

Summary

This study aims to understand how a thin layer inside blood vessels, called glycocalyx, and oxidative stress affect blood flow in people with chronic kidney disease. Researchers will compare 105 participants, including kidney disease patients, people with high blood pressure, and healthy volunteers. No treatments are given; the goal is to find new markers for early detection and better understanding of the disease.
