First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether the supplement glutamine can prevent nerve damage caused by the chemotherapy drug vincristine in children and teens with cancer. About 70 participants, aged 6 to 18, will take glutamine twice daily for 14 days during their treatment. Researchers will track how many develop neuropathy and whether it leads to lower chemo doses or early treatment stops.
