First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether taking glutamine by mouth can help gastric cancer patients regain muscle and improve nutrition after having their stomach removed. About 120 adults who had stomach cancer surgery will take glutamine supplements and be monitored for changes in muscle size, weight, and daily activity. The goal is to see if this simple supplement can aid recovery and reduce muscle loss.
