Could a popular diabetes drug target save limbs?
NCT ID NCT07340112
Summary
This study aims to gather information to see if a future treatment for severe leg artery disease is possible. Researchers will compare blood samples from 50 patients with different stages of the disease to check for a specific protein target used by some diabetes drugs. The goal is to understand if activating this target could reduce harmful inflammation and potentially inform future treatment trials.
