Can exercise protect your muscles while on Weight-Loss drugs?
NCT ID NCT07091500
Summary
This study aims to see if popular GLP-1 weight-loss medications, when taken with or without a supervised exercise program, help people with obesity keep their muscle mass and physical strength while losing weight. It will also look at what happens to muscle and metabolism when people stop taking the medication. Researchers will follow 40 adults with obesity and reduced physical function for two years.
