Summary
This study aimed to understand how a natural gut hormone called GLP-1 affects bone health. Researchers gave 12 healthy volunteers either the hormone or a saline solution for three days to see how it changed markers of bone building and breakdown. The goal was to gather basic knowledge about how our bodies regulate bone, not to treat any disease.
