Promising drug cocktail takes on tough lymphoma
NCT ID NCT06558604
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This phase 2 trial is testing a combination of three drugs—glofitamab, venetoclax, and zanubrutinib—in people with high-risk mantle cell lymphoma, either newly diagnosed or after relapse. The study will enroll 100 participants across three groups based on their treatment history. The main goal is to see if the combo can keep the cancer from progressing for at least 12 months.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Glofitamab, venetoclax, and zanubrutinib (drugs)
What this could lead to
If successful, this could offer a new treatment option for people with hard-to-treat mantle cell lymphoma, potentially improving how long they live without their cancer getting worse.
What could go wrong
This is an early-phase trial with only 100 people, so results may not apply to everyone. The drug combination can cause serious side effects, and it is not yet known if it works better than current treatments.
