Summary
Half of all surgery patients arrive in the recovery room with hypothermia (low body temperature), which raises risks of bleeding, infection, and heart problems. This study tests whether warming patients before, during, and after surgery reduces hypothermia better than warming only during surgery. Researchers will compare 174 patients undergoing laparoscopic visceral surgery.
