Summary
This study aims to understand how common and serious infections are in intensive care units (ICUs) worldwide. Researchers will collect information from 10,000 adult ICU patients across the globe during a single day to see what types of infections occur, how they're treated with antibiotics, and how patients recover. The study won't provide any new treatments but will gather crucial data to help improve future care for critically ill patients.
