Brain cancer breakthrough? old antidepressant joins fight against deadly tumor

Summary
This study is testing whether adding an old antidepressant drug (trimipramine) to two existing cancer drugs can help control recurrent glioblastoma, a very aggressive brain tumor. It will involve 59 patients whose cancer has returned after standard treatment. The main goals are to see if the three-drug combination can slow tumor growth and to measure how much trimipramine reaches the brain tissue.
