Eye drop trial aims to boost glaucoma surgery success
NCT ID NCT03933631
Summary
This study is testing whether using pilocarpine eye drops after a combined glaucoma and cataract surgery helps control eye pressure better than surgery alone. It involves 142 patients with glaucoma who are having this specific two-in-one procedure. The goal is to see if the drops prevent scar tissue from forming and help the surgery work longer to protect vision.
