New eye implant aims to treat two conditions at once
NCT ID NCT07154797
Summary
This study tested a single device that combines a new lens for cataract surgery with a slow-release implant for glaucoma. It involved 24 people who needed cataract surgery and also had mild-to-moderate glaucoma or high eye pressure. The main goal was to see if the device could safely lower eye pressure for six months after surgery, potentially reducing the need for daily eye drops.
