New implant combo may replace risky glaucoma surgery

Summary

This study tests whether two small devices placed inside the eye can safely lower eye pressure in people with moderate to severe open-angle glaucoma. The devices are an alternative to traditional filtering surgery. The study will enroll 20 adults whose glaucoma is not well controlled with medications or laser treatment.
