NCT ID NCT02862938

First seen Nov 05, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests a tiny implant placed in the eye that releases helpful cells to protect vision in people with glaucoma. 54 participants will either get the implant or a sham procedure. Researchers will check if it slows vision loss and nerve damage over 6 months. This is an early-phase trial, so it focuses on safety and whether the approach works.
