Tiny eye implant tested to halt Glaucoma's vision loss

NCT ID NCT02862938

Summary

This study is testing a small, permanent implant placed inside the eye to see if it can slow or stop vision loss from glaucoma. It compares the implant to a sham (fake) surgery in 54 people with moderate glaucoma. The main goal is to see if the implant helps preserve the patient's side vision over 6 months.
