Eye disease mystery: could tiny blood vessels hold the key?

NCT ID NCT05264818

Summary

This study aims to understand if damage to a protective lining inside tiny blood vessels is linked to glaucoma, a common eye disease that can lead to vision loss. Researchers will compare 100 people with glaucoma to people without it, using a special camera to take pictures of the vessels in the eye. The goal is to gather new information about what causes glaucoma, which could help guide future treatments.
